High School Girls Varsity Soccer 2009 Belmont HS (Los Angeles,
CA) Again, The Sentinals were on the verg of a shutout. Could be their 5th straight. Not that thats what they were thinking about because alone in first place is what should have been on their minds. Beating The Eagles, The Sentinals would have all I just mentioned. But winning the game was another thing. The Eagles were hot themselves with a three game win streak, all shutout too and knowing apiece of first place was at stake with these Sentinals. It was 1 -0 with about 5 minutes to go before The Eagles finally got the ball past the bars and into the net to tie the game at 1 apiece. The game ending 1-1. # 35 from The Eagles scored their goal and SO #17 Leslie Rivera scored for Belmont. Both teams travel 1.22.09 to their next game, The Eagles at Wilson and Belmont to my Alumni Franklin. Both games start at 2:30. |
