THE PIT, Franklin HS--FUN, FUN, FUN. Is what everyone had that attended this first ever Fundraiser Basketball game between the DJ's from POWER 106 and Franklin's faculty and players from the schools Varsity basketball team.

While the Fans boogied to the music from the DJ's and the Surprise Guest Performers, the players from both teams did alittle booging of their own, entertaining the crowd in numerous different ways from SLAM DUNKS to POWER 106 giving away different gifts to fans that were the loudest.

At half time the fans were entertained by FHS Cheerleaders and the most popular of the two suprise guest was, Young Buck, who's most known song is "Sexy Lady". I thought that was cool, heard his song plenty of times on the radio and here we are in Highland Park, CA listening and seeing him perform live. The three ladies that also performed jammed as well. The fans went wild. What a treat.

Even though the score showed POWER 106 winning 90 to 81 it was really the fans and the players that won in the end, the memories we'll have, getting to meet the DJ's from one of the best radio station on the West Coast, getting to listen to them live and of course, getting out on a nice night and hanging out with my daughter, watching Basketball, listening to some music (her kind of music), supporting my Alumni FHS. I wouldnt trade it for anything.
